🐾 A QuickClips Update ❤️

Five years ago, I started my mobile grooming business, and I can honestly say it has changed my life in so many ways. I am beyond grateful for every person I’ve met along the way.. the clients who became family, the friendships I’ve made, and every single person who trusted me with their pets and welcomed me into their homes. It has truly meant more to me than I could ever put into words. 💜

That being said, I’m entering a different season of life. Between my heart issues, two growing boys who are becoming increasingly busy with sports, and working a full-time Monday–Friday job, grooming simply doesn’t fit into my life the way it once did.

Because of that, QuickClips will be operating a little differently moving forward.

Going forward, I will no longer be scheduling recurring 4–6 week appointments. Instead, QuickClips will operate on a once every few months basis. Every other month, I will post a signup sheet with the available grooming dates and times, and appointments will be filled from there.

I completely understand that this schedule may not work for everyone, and if you need to find a groomer who can accommodate a more frequent or consistent schedule, I completely understand. There are so many amazing groomers out there, and I would be more than happy to help connect you with someone I trust. ❤️ I’ll be tagging some of my favorite local groomers in the comments!

This decision wasn’t easy because I truly love what I do and I love all of you and your pets so much. But I also need to make room in my life to take care of myself, be present for my boys, and actually enjoy the days off I have from my full-time job instead of constantly trying to find sitters and squeeze grooming into every spare moment.

I hope you can understand that this isn’t goodbye, it is simply QuickClips finding a new rhythm that allows me to keep doing something I love while also having the work-life balance my family and I need. 🥹

Thank you for five incredible years of support, trust, friendship, and love. Thank you for allowing me to love on your babies, trusting me in your homes, and supporting my little business for all these years.

I am ready to get back into my grooming schedule but my AC in my car is currently out. Once that gets fixed I’ll let everyone know when I’m ready to rock n roll. Love and miss you all! 💜🐾

Hi grooming family 💜

I wanted to give everyone a little update. I just finished an 8 day hospital stay and am now home recovering from a heart ablation. Unfortunately I’ve had a complication while healing — a femoral artery aneurysm — so my doctors currently have me on strict bed rest while my body heals.

I miss you all (and your sweet pets) more than you know. Grooming and spending time with your pets is something I truly love, and it’s been really hard being away longer than expected.

Thank you all so much for the patience, prayers, and support you’ve shown me. It truly means the world. I’m focusing on resting and healing so I can get back to doing what I love as soon as possible. I promise I’ll keep everyone updated, and I cannot wait to see you and your fur babies again soon. 🐾💜

I know that speaking up like this can feel risky, but this is deeply important to me. I want my clients and community to know that I will stand up for you regardless of where you come from, who you love, your immigration status, the color of your skin, your religion, or anything else that makes you you.

I don’t support systems or leadership that harm marginalized communities. I do operate QuickClips with a lot of heart and a deep love for my fellow neighbors, both human and four-legged.

I also believe it is important for businesses everywhere, both big and small, to speak up when people feel unsafe. It saddens me that loving others and wanting people to feel safe has become political.

This will always be a place rooted in respect, compassion, and dignity.

My values are not up for debate, but my doors remain open to kindness and respect. 💜🐾

With my new job and schedule, QuickClips will now only be taking appointments one Saturday a month. I’ll be reaching out to everyone between now and Sunday to rearrange existing appointments. At this time, I’m not accepting new clients, but I’ll occasionally do “pop-up Saturdays” for extra availability.
