Attention residents: It’s important to keep your address updated with Sedgwick County to ensure the timely delivery of your Revenue Neutral Rate (RNR) letter and November property tax bills. Recently, 5,494 property owners experienced mail returns due to outdated addresses. To avoid this issue, please take a moment to verify and update your information. You can do this by visiting the Sedgwick County Clerk’s website here: https://www.sedgwickcounty.org/clerk/.

Ensuring your address is accurate will help you receive important notifications and prevent any delays in your tax-related communications.

Today marks the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month
Hispanic/Latino culture will be celebrated from September 15 to October 15 National Hispanic Heritage Month celebrates the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America

This special observation started in 1968 as Hispanic Heritage Week under President Lyndon Johnson, and then extended and enacted into law on August 17, 1988

Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to recognize and celebrate the contributions and influences of Hispanic/Latino citizens to the U.S.
September 15th is the anniversary of the independence for Latin American countries Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua
Mexico and Chile celebrate their independence days on September 16 and September 18.

Latinfest ICT is a celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month as well as the diversity of the Hispanic/Latino identity

There will be lots of celebrations this weekend starting tonight in Old Town

Latinfest begins Saturday September 16 2023 at 11am

I along with my partners will soon be sharing lessons in a "SAFETY & SITUATIONAL AWARENESS SERIES"

It is a project of Warriors For Youth, Inc and will to offered for community and also target audiences such as youth, seniors, women, home owners etc

I love animals and what better way to care for them than to be prepared for any situation that might effect their safety, health and security.

Avoid the long lines vote now!!

Early voting in person is now open at our satellite vote centers. These vote centers will be open Nov 1 – 4 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Nov 5 from 9 a.m.to 4 p.m. ALL Sedgwick county voters can vote at all of these locations during voting hours.

Voting is also still open at the Sedgwick County Election Office at 510 N. Main through Nov 4 (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and Nov 7 (8 a.m. to 12 p.m.)
