GREAT DAY!!! Over 30 Grayling over 16" and Cutthroat over 18".

Today's catch made into smoked Trout Jerky.

If this is any indication what size fish we might catch through the ice this season it will be a great ice fishing season for all my customers...

I built a 8x20 insulated fishing platform for putting my heavy duty insulated ice fishing tent on. The platform is built with ski skids to pull onto the ice. The platform has over 1-1/2 insulation in the floor with 6-cut in ice hole covers which makes for a perfect warm hut to catch big trout. The tent will be equipped with big screen t.v and underwater cameras to see the fish that are being caught. There will be plenty of heat to keep the tent 70 to 80 degrees. Almost like fishing in your living room.

It's chilling down at the lake and heating up for catching lunker trout. As water temps start to cool in preparation for the start of ice the big fish are feeding heavy. If it stays cold we may have good ice in December. I am excited to guide ice fishing trips this winter!!!

It's been a real busy Labor Day weekend with multiple trips everyday. This was a Birthday group with the Birthday boy catching a nice pike.

Some great clients from Kansas catching some really Big Trout this evening.

A great group of guys that planned this trip as a bachelor party. I guided them for 8 hours and they caught lots of fish and big fish. The groom to be caught the largest fish of the day.
