Barrel racing has changed my life in so many ways! I started riding horses when I was 5 and now I’m 8. I love it SO much! Taking care of my horses makes me feel happy and responsible. They take care of me too and are my BEST friends. I love when I see our hard work paying off. Even when I don’t win, I look for what I did good and what I can work on. This helps on schoolwork too. I like cheering for everyone. I tell them “You’ve got this!” I just want everyone to have a safe run but I also want it to be fun. That’s all that matters! Barrel racing makes me proud of my horse and myself! We are a team! I hope other kids get to feel that way too. This really is the BEST life!
