This house needed some help. So we made a design with plants that are low maintenance, highly deer resistant, and can survive in sunny conditions.

Core aeration and overseeding, its that time of year to help your lawn recover from the hot summer. Below is nice illustration of some of the benefits of core aeration.
If you are hiring a company make sure they are using turf type tall fescue seed at a rate of 4lbs per 1000 sq. ft. of turf. Avoid fly by night contractors that use cheap seed, and ask them what type of seed they use and where they purchase the product.

This a prime example of builder grade landscape installation. The spacing and bed space are clearly not correct.
We redesigned this bed to be welcoming to the house. We also installed black aluminum edging to help be more maintenance free in the future.

Some before and after photos of a full installation. We are going to finish this job with a layer of mulch and power wash the front of the house.

Finishing up the last details of the this 600 square feet patio addition. We tied into an existing patio that was locating in the back yard and removed an old cracked concrete pad. The Moorefield Landscaping Crew worked hard this week to get this job finished up.
