This is why on all new short blocks I get I check over everything. Double check oil galley plugs, inspect seals and I’ve learned the hard way to just go ahead and reseal the separator plate. Look at the gaps in the silicone. Would have leaked for sure.

Maintenance day on the wife’s 4runner. Mmmmm yummy diff fluid. 🤮 🛠️🚙

Handy tip when you don’t have a pump and you can’t get the bottle to the fill hole.

Poke a hole in the top of the bottle. Run a piece of hose down to the bottom of the bottle. CAREFULLY pressurize with some air. Don’t blow up the bottle and cover yourself with diff fluid mist. Good luck! May the odds be in your favor!
