The Project-Nerd Film Festival is now THE WESTMINSTER FILM FESTIVAL!
Still powered by Project-Nerd, still taking place in Westminster, Colorado, and still featuring plenty of great indie cinema, the new Westminster Film Festival is ready to reach even greater audiences in 2025.

The 2023 PNFF saw so many award-worthy and amazing films, pilots, and series, but at the end of the day we could only hand out one grand prize.
We're excited to share with you the 2023 Project-Nerd Film Festival Best in Show: FP 4EVZ (United States) by Jason Trost. The film caps the epic FP franchise and was loved by our voters for its unique approach at filming, satirical absurdity, and pure fun.

Today is the day! We’re live at the Project-Nerd Film Festival at the Origin Hotel and Tattered Cover Book Store in Westminster, Colorado! We have several blocks of amazing films today, and there’s still time to join in the fun!

The night comes to a glorious end with the 2022 PNFF Best in Show, "Double Trouble", returning to open for Jason Trost's epic sci-fi dystopian blast, "FP 4EVZ". All who attend will have zero regrets for the rest of their lives.

We're not finished yet. Four more short films and two series pilots hold down our Movie Night Block at 6:15 tomorrow evening. We promise you plenty of fun here.

Our most packed film block is our Early Evening Shorts Block with 10 short films ranging from funny to bizarre to jaw-dropping to mind-bending. You won't want to miss this set of films at 3:45.

You still with us? Well, you should be. Because at 1:15 tomorrow we're moving into the afternoon with two fantastic short films and a great comic book themed documentary in our Afternoon Nerd Session. Single Block Tickets and Full Day Passes available.

In the middle of the day we have a short and exciting Sci-Fi Block that features three short projects you'll want to see. Single block tickets are available as well as Full Day Passes.
