This garden event began as a result of Blendon Township Trustee Stewart Flaherty's idea and prompting. Mr. Flaherty believes that beauty is contagious.
He loves gardening. At the 2009 Blooms event, we declared Mr. Flaherty our Honorary Chairman. Garden Show and Contest located in Huber Ridge began in 2008 and in 2015 included Sunbury Woods, each in Blendon Township, Ohio. Our Story
Located in Huber Ridge and in 2015 included Sunbury Woods, each in Blendon Township, Ohio. Photos of participating gardens and information about tours; year round gardening tips. Founded to promote beautification and community within the Huber Ridge and as of 2015 Sunbury Woods areas, Blendon Township, and to encourage and educate all gardeners. Annual Garden tour and contest currently sponsored and funded by the Huber Ridge Area Association, Inc. and private donors.
