Chembulet will always hold a special place in our hearts at First West. We have completed years of ministry in partnership with the 410 Bridge in this community in Kenya and now get to see them celebrate graduating the community development program with many lives changed by Christ.

The people of Chembulet are a resilient, kind hearted, God-fearing people. God has given us a very important mission to bring the gospel to the nations. Through visits to Kenya, people have seen that no matter the gift or talent they think they have or don’t have, God will use their “Yes!” in wonderful ways. May we always remember God‘s bigger picture, “…a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb.” Rev 7:9

🔥 CAMP FUEGO IS HERE! 🔥

Our Middle School students are headed to Camp Fuego this week, and we couldn't be more excited for what God has in store!

Join us in praying for safe travels, meaningful friendships, our adult leaders, and most importantly, life-changing encounters with Jesus. We believe this week will be filled with worship, growth, and memories that will last a lifetime.🙌🔥

Today, we had the privilege of praying over and commissioning Garrett and Brittany Hodges as they follow God's call into a new season of ministry.

While it is never easy to say goodbye, we are incredibly grateful for the faithful way Garrett and Brittany have served the Lord and the First West family. Their investment in students, families, and countless lives over the years has made an eternal impact, and they will be greatly missed.

At the same time, we look forward with great anticipation to seeing how the Lord will continue to use them in this next chapter. We are thankful that Garrett and Brittany will still be leading and serving our students at Fuego and High School Camp this summer before their transition.

Their final Sunday at First West will be June 28.

Over the next month, be sure to let Garrett and Brittany know how much they are loved and appreciated. We would also love for you to share a favorite memory or ministry moment in the comments.

Garrett and Brittany, thank you for serving faithfully, loving people well, and pointing so many to Jesus. We are cheering you on as you follow His leading, and we will be praying for you as you take this step.

Young Married Adults, a New Life Group, Has Launched!

If you've been hesitant to join a Life Group, summer is a great time to get connected.

A new Young Married Adults Life Group has launched, led by Chandler & Amber Conrad, Reece & Vivian Aultman, Luke & Samantha Williams, and Ethan & Sally Swanner. This group multiplied from the Nearly/Newly class with the goal of reaching and connecting young married couples through biblical community, meaningful relationships, and spiritual growth.

The group will meet on Wednesdays at 6:00 PM throughout the summer.
