Due to the extreme weather conditions forecasted for this Tuesday, we are notifying families that Guidepost Montessori at Westlake will be closed on Tuesday, January 21st.
At this time, we have not yet made a decision regarding a delayed start or closure on Wednesday, January 22nd. We will continue monitoring the weather and provide an update by Tuesday evening before 6:00 PM should a delayed start or closure be necessary to allow families ample time to prepare. Freedom of movement is a powerful tool in nurturing independence from the very start. At Guidepost , we believe that even our littlest ones, like Sonny, thrive when given the space to explore and express themselves. 🧸✨
‘Movement with independence is the path to happiness.’ - Maria Montessori
Watching Sonny enjoy our indoor gym reminds us how essential it is to provide an environment that encourages growth through exploration and play. 🌱

Thank you to all the amazing families who joined us for our “Dad Rocks” event this past Friday! We had a fantastic time creating crafts and building memories together.
“Children learn more from what you are than what you teach.” – Maria Montessori
Connecting families with their children through crafts is such a wonderful way to strengthen those bonds. We can’t wait to see you all at our next event!

For Spring 🌷🪻🌹 and Earth Day🌎🌱 , the children added some color to our playground! Planting flowers and vegetables! Draw your child’s attention to the living organisms around them (both plants and living creatures) at home.
