As of now the salon does not have power. I do have numbers but some of those numbers are house phones and if your power is out I won’t be able to get in touch with you. So I’m hoping that some of you may see this post. I will keep everyone updated.

The fourth of July is almost her! We've got you covered. Dermalogica sunscreens and masks.

Dear friends,

Finally it's time! We are opening up on Thursday, June 25th. I will be at the salon taking phone calls, if I miss your call please leave a message, I will get back to you as soon as possible. Because of the time spacing between clients it maybe harder to get everyone in, I promise we will do our best.

All safety measures that were laid out in my last email will be put in place and followed. There are just a few more added; no food or drinks allowed and no pocketbooks. We will also be limiting nail polish drying time to 15min. Keep in mind Aurora is a small salon, there will be adjustments that we all have to get used to.

We will be asking the following important questions to all of our clients:

* Have you had a fever in the last 24 hours of 100 or above?

*Do you now, or have you recently had; any respiratory or flu symptoms, sore throat, or
shortness of breath?

*Have you been in contact with anyone in the last 14 days who has been diagnosed with
Covid-19 or has corona virus-type symptoms?

There will also be a waiver for you to read and sign with the same questions. When you call to book your appointments we will go over the new protocols, also when we confirm.

CDC Works 24/7

Dear friends,

I promised to keep you updated on our plans to reopen. It looks like in the near future I will be able to do so. In an attempt to answer some questions you may have here is a list of things I will implement to keep us all safe.

*Everyone must wear a mask (as will we). You will be asked to wash your hands before sitting down. If you have hand sanitizer and wish to bring it for your own use please do so as supplies are low.

*There will be plexiglass shields at the front desk, nail, and pedicure stations. The nail dryers will be separated to ensure social distancing.

*We will allow extra time between appointments to fully sanitize. (The rooms and stations will be safely disinfected.)

*When you arrive call before coming in. If by chance we are running late you will be asked to stay in your car and called when we are ready. Sorry no guests aloud.

*For now only one person can be at a station. I know some of you love to talk with each other, but we need to be safe.

*If you are interested in purchasing products please ask for help, one of us will be glad to assist. If you happen to touch something don't hesitate to tell us, so we may wipe it down. Also, if you use the restroom let us know. Please do not feel you are being difficult, it is very important to us that we keep you safe.

I hope this helps with any questions you have. As we all know changes are happening everyday, so some of the safety measures may also change, I will keep you updated. When you call for your appointments we will go over the safety measures and again when we call to confirm.

All of us are looking forward to the day we see you again and are hoping this new normal doesn't last long. In truth I do not like the term new normal because it is not our normal. It is what must be done. You have my word we will do our best to keep you safe. If there is anything that makes you uncomfortable feel free to say something. We all will do what we can to ease your concerns.
