Today's workout:
-20min Run (8 jog/2 speed walk X2)
-Upper body circuit 10 reps, 3x through
Bench press, Upright row, Bent over row, shoulder press, bi curl, tri extension

Full Body Circuit Lift... Give it a try!
Find or make a bar that is a comfortable weight you can use for all the exercises (you can use a single dumbbell for the tri extension). I would imagine for most of us it's somewhere between 25-45lbs.
4-5 rounds of:
10 Push ups
10 upright row
10 bentover row
10 shoulder press
10 biceps curl
10 overhead triceps extension
50 curl ups

About ti embark on 5 1/2 straight hours of training in this heat. Armed with only 64oz of water, 4 sets of snacks and sunglasses... I feel bad for 7pm group already!

Hey GITers!
Over this past year you’ve all been so inspiring in your interest for healthy alternatives to cooking and requests for recipes that I’ve decided to take all of that info and put it in one place…..a cookbook! Now I’m not talking about your “pick it up at Barnes & Noble” level, but a bound book of all my brainwaves nonetheless.
I’m just starting the planning and organization process and want to make sure that I meet all of your needs and answer all of your questions. Whether you’re board of your same ol’ chicken recipes, are looking for quick fixes on a work night, want to give quinoa a shot but don’t know where to start, or have any other food/cooking related question or ideas just respond to this post or message me and I’ll do my absolute best to get it in there!
I want to make this book all you so please don’t hesitate to shout out the smallest of requests!

7am workout on the beach, coffee and breakfast followed by a surf session....great start to the day!!!
What did your morning look like?

Had to cut the head off to fit it on the grill
Here's what I'm cooking tonight...Have a Waldbaums near you and you can too!
Grilled Whole Salmon w/Fennel, Onion & Lemon and a side of roasted Broccoli
1 (4ish pound) whole salmon, gutted and scaled
Sea salt,
1 medium onion, peeled and thinly sliced
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1 small bunch fennel fronds (the top part that looks like herbs)
5sprigs fresh thyme
Olive oil, as needed
flour, as needed
Sprinkle sea salt generously in the cavity of the fish and over the skin, then stuff it with the onions, lemons, fronds, and Thyme sprigs. If it's too packed just use string to tie it closed. Make deep incisions with a knife through the thickest part of the fish on both sides, from head to tail. Brush both the fish and the grill lightly with oil, dust the salmon skin on both sides lightly with flour, and place the salmon on the grill.
Grill over medium-hot heat, with the cover on and the vents open. When the skin is browned on 1 side, flip it. Continue cooking until just cooked through, about 35 to 40 min.
For the broccoli just cut it up and toss it with olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder and plop it on tin foil and throw it on the grill!
