NWL Academy Free Classes

NWL Free Academy is back!!!
Classes start this Saturday, March 8th at 3PM.
Same place - National Wholesale Liquidators 111 Hempstead Turnpike, 2nd Floor.

We just completed our third semester and handed out certificates of completion. Great job to all of the classmates and teacher George for braving the heavy snow to meet last week!

This past Saturday was the last class of our third semester. We handed out certificates and served refreshments. Was one of my most fun days. Thanks!

Dear Participants,



It was unclear whether or not we would continue another semester.

However, it seems that the class has become a real community with fun, communication, volunteers and most importantly, learning.



The new semester will begin on June 15th.



Thanks to our awesome teacher, volunteers, everybody who attends and everybody who writes in.

From Our Teacher

The National Wholesale Liquidators Academy wants to welcome everyone to come and participate in the FREE English classes that are going to start on Saturday March 23 on the second floor of the NWL building. 111 Hempstead Turnpike, West Hempstead, NY 11552.

We will be running two classes, one for beginners from 2 – 4 pm, and the second one for intermediate people from 4:30 – 6:30 pm.

There will be some free refreshments as well.

The class is going to be an Audio Visual system with a lot of participation from the students. The topics will relate with situations from everyday life. Games, roll playing, dialog and activities will be part of the class. Both beginners and intermediate levels will last twelve weeks. At the end of the cycle the students will get a certificate of attendance, given by The NWL Academy.

A midterm test and a final one will be given so the student can see how much he has learned.

This is going to be a real and fun experience to learn some English with the Teacher George Silva who has been on the ESL field for almost 30 years in the City of New York. He got a degree in Education at the “Universidad Nacional de Ciencias de la Educación y lenguas , in Bogotá Colombia.

He also got his BS and Master in Education at La Guardia and Queens College. He has worked as an ESL instructor in private institutions around NY.

The benefits of these classes are to encourage our Hispanic community to learn the English language, so they will increase their opportunities in this Country, and they will feel more confident.

There are no strings attached, anyone could come and go as he pleases, however we suggest our students to try to attend every single Saturday to see the improvement after some time.

Once again NWL Academy welcomes our community to come and join us every Saturday.
