Boat was overdue for a facelift. Took a couple days of hard work but she is once again looking sharp!

Picked up a new sticker for the truck. Now I’ll feel like a chump every time I put the Honda on the Hyde.

Bench time. Tying up leech patterns for spring brookies. Tie them with added lead wraps and without, in olive, chartreuse, and orange(shown). The colors really pop when wet.

Nothing beats a fall Maine day on the water. We’ve been trolling a bunch this fall and have had some great catches of landlocked salmon and brookies. The fall salmon bite is solid right now!

Had a great weekend at the Bug Bumper Two Fly tourney. Some of the toughest fishing I’ve seen in a while but we did well.

Fantastic float! The smallmouth were aggressive and willing to bite. I lost track of how many they caught. Fished tubes early with some luck then switched to flukes and just plain hammered them.

Penobscot smallmouth at its finest. Lots of nice fish today!!

Got out the other morning with Capt. Reynolds of Meadowbrook Guide Service for some striper fishing. We landed some nice fish and had a blast in the rain.

Big smiles on the Penobscot again today. The crew had a blast and hooked into some real nice smallies.
