Realtors: what’s under the house can make or break a transaction.

While buyers are often focused on kitchens, bathrooms, and curb appeal, some of the most significant issues we find are hidden in the crawlspace. Moisture intrusion, wood rot, plumbing leaks, structural concerns, and damaged insulation aren’t visible during a showing, but they can have a major impact on negotiations and repairs.

At Streamline Inspections, we get into the places most people don’t want to go so your clients have the information they need to make confident decisions.

A thorough inspection isn’t just about finding problems. It’s about helping transactions move forward with fewer surprises.

You never know what’s hiding beneath a home until a thorough inspection reveals it.

During a recent inspection, we discovered significant structural damage in the crawl space that wasn’t visible from inside the home. Issues like damaged floor supports, deteriorated framing, and moisture-related damage can compromise the safety, stability, and value of a property if left unaddressed.

That’s why a comprehensive home inspection is so important. What looks fine on the surface may have serious concerns lurking underneath.

Whether you’re buying, selling, or simply maintaining your home, knowing what’s going on below the floor can save you from costly surprises down the road.

At Streamline Inspections, we go where most people don’t so you can make informed decisions with confidence.

📞 Schedule your inspection today and let us help uncover what you can’t see.

Not all siding is created equal.

Today Chad inspected a home with Masonite siding, a product that was popular for years because it looked like wood and was more affordable. The problem? Masonite is highly susceptible to moisture damage.

When water finds its way behind the paint or into exposed edges, the siding can swell, soften, rot, and deteriorate from the inside out. In many cases, the damage isn't obvious until it's already extensive.

That's why a professional home inspection matters. We don't just look at what's visible from the curb. We look for the signs of hidden issues that could turn into expensive repairs down the road.

If you're buying a home with Masonite siding, make sure you know exactly what condition it's in before you close.

What we catch today can save you thousands tomorrow.

Out of sight shouldn't mean out of mind.

A septic scope allows us to inspect the sewer line from the house to the septic tank using a specialized camera, helping identify potential issues before they become expensive surprises.

Root intrusion, cracks, blockages, bellies in the line, and other hidden defects aren't always visible during a standard home inspection, but they can lead to costly repairs after closing.

When it comes to buying a home, what you can't see can absolutely hurt your wallet.

Ask Streamline Inspections about adding a septic scope to your inspection for extra peace of mind.

❄️🔥 What are we looking at when we inspect your HVAC system?

A lot more than whether the air is blowing cold or hot.

During a home inspection, we evaluate visible and accessible HVAC components, including:

✔️ Age and condition of the system
✔️ Air handler and condenser unit condition
✔️ Proper operation of heating and cooling functions
✔️ Airflow at supply registers
✔️ Visible ductwork issues
✔️ Dirty or clogged filters
✔️ Signs of leaks, rust, or damage
✔️ Safety concerns and installation defects

Your HVAC system is one of the most expensive components in your home. Identifying concerns before closing can help buyers avoid surprises and help sellers address issues proactively.

Not all roof problems can be seen from the ground. 🏠🔍

Settlement cracks aren’t always “just cosmetic” especially when they start showing up in places like garage ceilings. 👀

On this inspection, Kendrick spotted a settlement crack that could indicate movement over time and may need further evaluation by a qualified contractor if it gets worse. That’s why having a detailed home inspection matters. We’re trained to catch the things most people would walk right past.

At Streamline Inspections, we believe in educating our clients, not just checking boxes. 🏠🔎
