To sum up, I bought a broken car that was at the top end of my budget and every party within the Hyundai umbrella (two dealers, Hyundai corporate, their social media team) I've dealt with have somehow made that experience even worse.
- You had my car for 2 months to make over $12k of engine repairs
- I picked it up yesterday end of day because you said it was fixed.
- This morning while running errands with my toddler in the car, the engine light came on
- I called customer service. They suggested I take it somewhere nearby to get a diagnostic code to see what’s wrong. They said to call back with the information.
- I called at 12:27pm. After a long hold a receptionist answered and said someone would call me back. I explained that I had my toddler in the car (she was crying in the background of the call) and would like to wait to talk to someone to find out what I’m supposed to do.
- She said I couldn’t talk to someone. I would have to wait for a call back.
It’s now almost 2pm. I have not heard from anyone so I drove home praying the car wouldn’t break down again. Still waiting for a call….
