Bryan just ran a new personal best in the auto 58mm hx40 Mirage, 35psi. He's in the staging lanes ready to make another street car pass on street tires. I'm at home waiting for the datalogs. :p

This is a new local DSM'er that just moved to the area from Massachusetts. 2.3 6 bolt, Comp 6262, FIC 1650 BM on 93 Octane, HKS 272. Just a break-in tune for now to get some miles on it. Then we'll be re-tuning next week.
Local DSM'er in his street driven JAM 2.3 6 bolt with a 2g head on bc272's, 6266, 30psi on Q16/pump mix. Future mods will include a 6 bolt Curt Brown head, GSC s3's, 2150's, E85 and an upgrade to a PTE 6466.

This is a customers car that was shipped over from JNZTuning for a tune and to be set up to go fast. We found that the torque converter is not suited for this setup, and the very capable hx40 was replaced with a 6466 (because we like BIG power). A Bradco converter is now installed, race alignment is done, the tune will be done on the street, then finalized on the dyno. Big thanks to Jason Arcuri , and Charlie An for the hard work and superior installation/fabrication.

Congrats to Bryan Jacob in Florida for a well deserved personal best in his 58mm Hx40 automatic Mirage. All tuning was done via email and tons of fb messaging. This was done on a real street tire. Few things need to be fixed/adjusted and it will only go faster from here on out.

Will Stantons 2g, went 10.3 @ 137 on the original stock 7 bolt block and head on the HX40 in street trim... Now it's a built race car that will be competing at the track. Few weeks of work, and it's going on the dyno. RedJack Racing Drew Jones Will Stanton Jason Arcuri Cj Morrison

Took a trip to Amsterdam, NY to tune a 96 GSX. Quick mod list: FP Red, fp2 cams, 1000cc injectors...had to stop early at ~21psi due to a boost leak, then I'll finish the tune via email at 30psi.

so, you like your mitsu bolt on housing cause its quick and easy, right? Here is a before and after on the HX40 after being switched out from the .55 BEP bolt on housing, to a DragnFly T3 manifold/downpipe and .70 BEP T3 housing. No other changes other then fueling to get AFR's in check. 2.3, HX40 T3, E85, stock intake, 272 cams. The BEP housing stopped making power at ~26psi and started becoming a restriction. More boost to come.
