TexasPens
Creating custom pens, keychains, bottlestoppers, and game calls. I started turning pens in the spring of 2009.
I was introduced to penturning at the school where I am a math teacher by the Concepts of Engineering teacher. I loved creating something useful and began collecting the necessary equipment to turn pens at home. The next couple of years I worked to perfect the fit and finish of my pens and slowly started building toward starting Texas Pens.

Rosewood rollerball pen with a Celtic Knot style inlay made from plastic and Dr Pepper can. It took several tries to get the inlay right, but I think the final result was worth it.
This was for the Best in Show judge at the CWCCA National Specialty that was held this past week in St Louis.

Elk antler bolt action. Took a couple of quick phone pictures before delivering to a student who purchased for her dad. Always a pleasure to help a good kid get a nice gift for their family!
