Rhythm & Flow - Blue Ridge NC

I felt like sharing, and decided to do yet another drum circle for West Asheville's neighborhood "Create Fest" This Sat! July 6th!

Opening Circle at 2:30 followed by a indoor offering of both drumming and deep Dives into theories and drum circle discussion. That will run about 1 hour before we move the larger open Community drum circle to the outdoors.

And we will acoustically and rhythmically Rock Haywood Street, into the evening! Please come join me for either or both and all!!!

NEXT Saturday Fest May 11th has an open top all, community drumcircle, right in the middle of the afternoon, and you are invited to come, be a part.

Bring your drums, shakers, bells rattles, voices, smiling spirits and lets create a great rhythm vibe for historic district in Waynesville.

The Dancers I believe three different chapters of western NC, a variety for sure, are on at 12:30 so come for both and be ready to settle into circle at 2 pm !

I love circling community and what happens, bringing it all together!

Friends and Drum Family!
If you are coming tonite , we are happy, to have the very colorfilled commUnity drumcircle tonite in THE GREEN ROOM.

Same spot, same door entry, " a colorful " backdrop for the circle , dances and costuming! Abbe is got a table full of "King Cake" and we are excited about new drummers entering the field of rhythm making together . Many of us will costume, inviting , but no pressure. Prolonging the celebration of the season, just a bit more!

I am always happy to see natural growth take place around our rhythm-culture, here in Waynesville NC !

We have a very experienced ( african rhythms ) drum teacher , Carey, added to the mix of wonderful contributors to our growing community! Living HERE! I will introduce him once I get to meet him. But eight community members are in his class, many coming tonite!

Also folks may not realize the "world rhythms " fabulous teacher Charles Furtado, also here in Waynesville !!

And of course , reflecting on the reality of how lucky and grateful we are to have the continuing presence , participation and masterful presence of Meaghann Lynne and her dance guidance , and the dance goddesses, of Waynesville Belly Dance, at the drumcircles!!!

I at some time, will soon sit with beginners and drummers who are interested in understanding the dynamics and spirit side of circling , jamming, creating "in the moment" and the sheer social sensibilities , of drumming circles and unity ! Coming SOON!!!
