Looking for a little extra work on the weekends that can really make a difference in people's lives?

We are looking for a reliable individual with a clean driving record to help us pickup donations from retail partners on Saturday and Sunday every week.

This position is part-time, weekend availability only. The average time committment is 8 hours for the entire weekend (approximately 4 hours on Saturday and 4 hours on Sunday).

The ideal candidate will...
..be reliable to show up and do the pickup routes required with minimal supervision.
..have a clean driving record with no major incidents.
..be able to safely drive 16' and 26' box trucks (automatic transmission. No CDL required)
..be able to safely use pallet jacks, pickers, and other warehouse equipment safely.
..follow all safety and operational protocols, storing food in its appropriate locations, weighing shipments and recording information accordingly, maintaining mileage logs appropriately.

We need a reliable individual with a clean driving record and great customer service skills. The basic job responsibilities are to communicate with donors to coordinate large donations pickups. While not doing this, this individual will be responsible for assisting in the receiving, sorting, and moving donated items in and around our facility. Also, this person will need to help our food ministry with pickups from area retailers and with the efficient operation of our food line as needed.

Looking for a reliable individual with a clean driving record to help our food ministry collect and distribute food in Haywood County. This individual will need to drive our box trucks around Haywood and Buncombe County picking up donations from retailers and our food orders from MANNA FoodBank. In addition to this, they will need to help with general warehouse responsibilities around our facility and will assist donations as necessary with picking up large furniture items.

Want a job that helps others! We are hiring a donations partner to help us pickup large donations, receive and sort donations in house, and assist with our food ministry as necessary. We are so proud that our Executive Director Blake Hart was one of 75 organizational leaders chosen across all of Appalachia to participate in the Appalachian Regional Commission's READY Nonprofit cohort! In this process we will get to work alongside other regional nonprofits to learn skills and grow resources to benefit all residents of Haywood County!

ARC is thrilled to announce the 75 organizations selected for READY Nonprofits, the first learning track in our READY Appalachia initiative! 🎉

As part of the cohort, participating organizations will develop skills and ideas that will strengthen their communities. Once their learning track is complete, they can apply for up to $25,000 in match-free funding for a capacity-building project!
