We lost a great friend this week, who had a great business and beautiful family.
But what he didn’t have was a succession plan, or estate planning, or any finalization paperwork because he was young & healthy.
What will follow now is a very long probate court for his grieving family over assets and business closures. This is not how you want things to go for your family.

I hope your shop is closed today in honor of those who gave their all.
But if you opted to stay open, please take a moment to reflect on those who gave everything so you could build something amazing. 🇺🇸

So much chatter of oil increases and reserves running short.
Part of me feels this is a scare tactic to keep pricing high. Part of me feels this could be a very real issue we face in a few months. But we can’t function in fear and speculation. We must function in truth and real facts.

So whatever you oil costs now, make sure you’re margins are in line. And whatever it costs in a month, make sure the margins are in line. You can’t control the cost, but you can control your profit.

Be logical and be lead by fact. Anything less will add to anxiety. And Lord knows we don’t need more anxiety as a business owner. 🖤
