What a great night of open mic! We had 8 musicians, including myself, 3 of which were new to open mic night! Keep spreading the word folks, the more the merrier!

Logan K. Strong is a Texas native that has transplanted himself to the Cedar Valley. This was his first appearance at our OMN but I have ran into him at several other events in the area. He is a singer/songwriter that we hope to see more of as his schedule allows. Be sure to keep an eye out for his solo show at Grumpy’s in the future!
Not very many places you can go these days to hear someone play the accordion! Bill Gors is by far the best squeeze box player I know! Everytime he plays at OMN everybody in the house really enjoys it! You can catch Bill, and his brother Charlie, at Open Mic night regularly!
Charles E. Finch aka Uncle Chuck is another OMN favorite! He makes it up to every gathering, unless he falls asleep in his chair before 6 pm(I can only recall one time that this has happened). Chuck writes his own songs and is a great story teller! Be sure to stop in to check out the legend!
Dave Morse has been coming up to the OMN since the beginning. I can’t recall a time that he hasn’t made the trek up to be honest. Dave covers a wide variety of artist but personally I like Dave’s rendition of most songs over the originals. Here’s Dave singing Clay Pigeons!
We get a wide variety of musicians at the open mic night and they are all very talented. If you were there is past week you were able to see Paul Zelle play some SRV for the crowd! This guy can play! Paul has returned to the U of I for his second semester and we hope to catch up with him again during the summer.
