What a transformation!

At the heart of this project is a custom-built paver patio and retaining wall staircase, designed and built by hand to create something that isn't just beautiful, but strong, functional, and built to last. The warm, natural tones of the pavers blend beautifully with the wooded surroundings, while the textured retaining wall block adds depth and character. Every cut, curve, transition, and step was carefully worked to make the finished patio feel like it truly belongs with the property.

But this project went far beyond the patio.

We completed a full property cleanup, reshaped and prepared both the front and backyard for a new lawn, installed underground drainage around the home, and added a block border to give the landscape a clean, finished edge while still serving a purpose. Around the home, we installed approximately 10 tons of large river rock, bringing in natural color and texture that complements the existing stonework and wooded setting while creating a durable, low-maintenance landscape.

From the drainage beneath the ground, to reshaping the property, lawn preparation, tons of stone, individually placed pavers, retaining walls, stairs, and patio — every part of this project was done with a purpose.

The finished result is more than one new feature. It's a property that feels connected from one area to the next, with the custom paver patio and staircase as the centerpiece.

Good evening KLS family. Zach here, I wanted to personally make a post about what we have been doing for the last week. I apologize to everyone we have on schedule for projects that we decided to put on hold. We spent the week prepping and deploying ourselves to the Menasha area handing out supplys and helping with debris cleanup. I can't speak for Stephanie Kohne Mike Rogers, Wes Gragg , Vinnie Tagliapietra or Colin Henker who were a huge help last week, but to speak for myself it was life changing. To think in an instant, livelihoods were destroyed. It took 20 minutes to lose everything. Its difficult to put that into perspective. Everything we take for granted everyday can be taken from us in a blink of an eye. Our help is not finished there. We are back to work trying to get through our jobs but in my free time, I will absolutely be back out there helping. Yesterday Wes Gregg and I visited a home in the "ground zero" neighborhood. We got to talk to the family there and listen to their story of what they went through as so many others did and it hasn't left my mind. So, starting tomorrow 8/4/26 until 9/4/26 we are starting a raffle. All proceeds from this raffle will benefit this family by offering them new landscaping when they rebuild. Any extra costs after the raffle will be covered by me personally. If this succeeds we will start another raffle after. For 30 days I want everyone to share this all over. We will cover Waushara, Marquette, Green Lake, Winnebago, and Milwaukee counties. The lucky winner will receive a 4' round block fire pit installed by us with color of choice. Tickets are $50 each. 🌊 𝓘𝓻𝓸𝓰𝓪𝓶𝓲 𝓛𝓪𝓴𝓮 • Completed a seamless transition from river rock to granite rock garden beds, wrapping halfway around the home before cascading down the hillside toward the lake.

• Enhanced the landscape with rich, deep brown mulch, creating warmth, contrast, and a natural flow that complements the property's lakeside setting.

Every property has its own challenges, its own character, and its own vision. This week gave us the opportunity to work on several beautiful lakeside properties, each with a different purpose.

🪨 At Silver Lake, we completed a second river rock hillside border, adding another layer of protection against erosion while enhancing the natural beauty of the landscape. Thoughtfully placed stone not only helps preserve the hillside, but also creates a more finished, timeless look that blends seamlessly with its surroundings.

🧱At Rush Lake, we completed the rebuild of a retaining wall that had begun to fail over time.𝓑𝓮𝓪𝓾𝓽𝓲𝓯𝓾𝓵 𝓛𝓪𝓷𝓭𝓼𝓬𝓪𝓹𝓮𝓼 𝓑𝓮𝓰𝓲𝓷 𝓦𝓲𝓽𝓱 𝓐 𝓢𝓽𝓻𝓸𝓷𝓰 𝓕𝓸𝓾𝓷𝓭𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷.A retaining wall is only as strong as the base beneath it. By giving this retaining wall the good bones it deserved, we restored the strength and stability the hillside needed, creating a feature that's as beautiful as it is functional. A properly built retaining wall doesn't just transform a landscape—it provides lasting support, helps prevent erosion, and protects your investment for years to come.

✨ At Irogami Lake, we began transforming the landscape with elegant gray granite stone garden beds and rich dark brown mulch.𝓣𝓲𝓶𝓮𝓵𝓮𝓼𝓼 𝓝𝓪𝓽𝓾𝓻𝓪𝓵 𝓑𝓮𝓪𝓾𝓽𝔂.The cool, natural tones of the gray granite paired with the warmth of the dark brown mulch create a timeless contrast, adding depth, texture, and curb appeal. It's a combination that feels both natural and refined, creating the perfect foundation for a landscape that's just beginning to come to life.

🍃 We also had the opportunity to help a homeowner at Little Hills Lake with a property clean-up, giving the property a fresh start and creating a clean slate for what's ahead.
