The Waukegan Symphony Orchestra & Concert Chorus present the 2025 Joseph A. Favero Memorial Do It Yourself Messiah & Carol Sing-Along on Sunday, December 7, 2025 from 7pm to 9pm at the Orlin Trapp Auditorium, located at 2325 Brookside Avenue on Waukegan High School’s Brookside Campus. The concert will feature the Master Singers of Milwaukee, a mixed-voice choir of singers from the Milwaukee-area. Tickets are $20 for adults and children under 18 years are free. Air Show this weekend! So happy to hear that Mary Vineski Bayazid and Jennifer Cobb Bentley will be singing the national anthems this weekend! 👏 🎵

The Northern Illinois Air Show returns to Waukegan this weekend, Saturday, September 6, and Sunday, September 7.

PSA: Residents near the Waukegan National Airport (2601 W. Plane Rest Dr.) may notice aircrafts in the skies today, September 5, as performers practice for the show. Expect to see vintage planes and hear the roar of jets overhead. Please know this activity is part of scheduled air show preparations and is not a cause for concern.

Gates open at 9:30 a.m. each day, with the show beginning at noon. Tickets are available at northernillinoisairshow.com
