Southern Illinois was well represented in Orlando! We are so proud of our students and all of the students from our region who represented their programs with pride so far from home!

Delighted to be among the many incredible music ensembles representing Southern Illinois in Orlando, FL last week!

In addition to the Marching Kahoks, marching bands from Jersey County, Mascoutah, Massac County, and Waterloo all paraded down Main St USA, while Edwardsville HS Orchestra participated in Universal’s STARS Performance Program!

The Marching Bulldogs have landed back in Waterloo safe and sound!

The best trip with the best people - I am so proud of our marching bulldogs! In the last four days we’ve hit four different parks for 12, 13, and 14 hours at a time!

A huge huge thank you to everyone who supported our fundraisers, performances, and students before, during, and after this life changing trip. I can say with great confidence that the students had a great time and an even more excellent performance!

Hard to believe our day in Universal and Islands of adventure has come and gone! It was an absolutely unforgettable (and hot!) day and to cap it off the marching band students got some well deserved pool and hang time when we returned home.

Today is our last day at Universal Epic! We can’t wait to check out the newest park in the area!

Congratulations to Madalyn Prather on being selected to the IHSA All-Sectional Academic Team!

Madalyn’s dedication extends far beyond the soccer field. She is a hardworking student, a great teammate, and a positive role model who consistently demonstrates excellence in the classroom and in athletics.

The IHSA All-Sectional Academic Team recognizes student-athletes who excel academically while making meaningful contributions to their school and sport. We are incredibly proud of Madalyn for earning this well-deserved honor and representing our program with such class and commitment.

Waterloo High School Athletics

Day two is in the books and we are having a blast! Yesterday, the students spent the day exploring Hollywood Studios, and enjoying all the sites to see! We’ve been blessed with some beautiful weather, and we’re excited for what today brings!
