Thank goodness its Friday! Spending some time in the desert helping some great people.

2010 on “The Great One” with family and friends, this was something I always wanted to try, my Dad had been a guide (for fun) for over a decade on Mt. Denali (Mckinley) and I always took it for granted. The mountain does not give in to your preconceived idea of adventure, you bend and break to its will. But what it gives you when you leave is a sense of majesty I still feel to this day.

I gotta think that some old “feller” was having a good day when this tree went down many years ago…

Some friends invited us to Home Depot Kids Workshop (Home Depot has one every month) and a good time was had by all! They gave me a “big kid apron”, a pin and my own project. Who’s having more fun in the picture?!
