“A customer came in with an iPhone 11 that was shattered both front and back and covered in dirt. Apparently, it had been in his pocket at the construction site where he ran the excavator. He didn't realize it had fallen out of his pocket and had been run over by the large equipment several times until one of his colleagues pointed out that something was pushed into the dirt. When they pulled out his phone, he wasn't certain what to do.

Our store was new on the block, but he brought it to us to see if we could at least get it restored enough for him to retrieve his data. I checked in the phone, took it back to the bench to got to work. Upon removing the screen, I realized there was dirt to be removed from the inside of the phone as well. After a couple hours of repair, the customer had a new screen, back glass, charge port and battery. The phone was once again fully functional. He was so happy we were able to save his phone, that he made sure to recommend us to everyone else on his team. Several of the other construction guys did come to see us to repair their phones as well, mentioning what we had done previously for their co-worker.”

“A customer came to us with a Zenith Transoceanic Radio dating from the early 60s. This device was not turning on and has not properly worked in years. We special ordered some Carbon Zinc D cell batteries and were actually able to get a signal! Turns out standard Alkaline batteries have too high an Amp Hour to properly regulate the internal electronic components. This is just one of those instances that being able to take your time, do research and get the right answers for your customer can make all the difference!”

A customer came in for a repair on their iPhone 11 and was worried about the screen lifting and breaking like the one they had on currently. Had the other repair shop noticed the battery bulging and causing the issue, this customer could have been on the road with a fixed phone - but the bulging battery broke their screen yet again. We replaced the battery and screen, making the customer happy while also getting them a deal on both services.”
