I have a valid question!! Why are there all these so called dreams and visions of heaven today but none of hell? If there are dreams and visions of hell today, they are certainly not written in a book that makes it to a best seller's list or given an interview on todays so called Christian tv like all of these so called dreams and visions of heaven.
It used to be people had visions and dreams of hell and it would have a great impact not only on them but those around them. Two well known evangelists that I can think of right now (but I know there are more) had the fire lit under them for souls and truth bc of the visions they had of hell not of heaven. Maria Woodworth Etter and Lester Sumrall both had the testimonies of delaying their calling until they had visions of souls entering into hell and God showing them it was their job to save them. Again they didn't have visions of heaven to put a fire under them but hell. In Mother Etter's meetings people would fall out under conviction during her preaching without anyone laying hands on them and wake up truly saved. They would testify that while under the power of God, they were made to feel like they were hanging over hell on a rotten stick and this is what drew them to repentance combined with God's love drawing them to recieve forgiveness.
Even as I look back in my life, before I came to Christ, it was not only the love of God that drew me but the fear of Him as well. I knew hell was real because of dreams I had when I was young including a dream of everything on earth burning and on fire. While I still in my rebellion thought I could outrun God, it was both the thought of an eternal hell and the guilt of sin combined with the drawing love of Christ that caused me to finally repent.
Now the so called leaders in the church are patting sinners on the back, making them feel comfortable in their sin (bc they are doing the same), protecting their feelings, telling them all about God's love and mercy and heaven, and making them feel like they have it as long as they buy into what they view Christianity to be. Now hell is not even mentioned but only sermons to so called build up and make feel good and shout.
Yes as true Christians we need to emphasize and long for heaven but hell should be emphasized just as much not only for sinners but for the church to get a fire for the lost.
I wish the church of today would wake up and see how much it has got away from the Word of God! It is staggering today the amount of souls sitting in churches that are so lost and on their way to hell! Please wake up before it's too late! You won't care about having your feelings stomped on while burning in hell! You wish you would have listened to those that satan right now is convincing you are the enemy! You have a feeling of security in your fancy cieled church houses and your crowds of people with you but they will not be able to save you from the divine wrath of God to come upon sin and worldliness! God does not play games with sin and He is no respecter of persons! You aren't special because of your name or wealth or talent or family legacy! Sin is sin and God has to judge it no matter who you are! And He will not let you trample on His grace and just use it how you want to play with sin but then say you have God's grace to cover it! No you won't either but He will deny you that grace! There is a time for learning yes but there is also a time to grow up and stop using the excuse that you are still growing to live in sin! Do you think God has stupid written on His forehead? Do you think He will be manipulated by you? Do you think He doesn't know your every motive and thought? Please don't be a spiritual idiot! God will not be used and abused by you! As the scripture says in Galatians 6:7-8, "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting."

People that refer to themselves as Christians today have such staunch loyalties to spouse, children, parents, siblings, family, old friends, new friends, job, ministers, churches, ministries, denominations, country, town, school, college, political figures, political party, sports teams, music stars, hobbies, etc., etc. but not to God and His Word. If it comes between obeying God or continuing loyalty to any of above said ppl/activities (obviously different as far as where loyalties lie for each individual), for most people this day and age, God and His Word will get the back burner. What a sad state the church is in! This is why the true body of Christ today is almost non exsistent. It comes down to un-belief. They really don't believe in God as they try to make you believe they do. They really don't believe His Word is truth. For most it's just traditions passed down through family, or a 1 time short lived experiance they had with God that they look back on and confirm they are a Christian because of that. God's Word is not living to them. It is not their every day life source but their family, church, etc. is their every day life source. They believe more in what they can see rather than what they can't because obviously that is easier to do when there is no indwelling presence of God with in them. They like the basic morals of the Bible (what they interpret them to be) and the way it makes them feel when they live by them but they really don't understand the true character of God. It's not because of them not being able to understand Him but because of their flat out unbelief! This is why they will choose the temporary over the eternal and this is what will keep them from the true Kingdom of God! Unbelief will keep you out of the true blessings of God and wrapped up in what you believe is the blessing of God. It's in His Word what is flat out wrong and right, so instead of questioning it and following the crowd of the unbelieving church of today, read the Word, believe the Word, live by the Word, and be loyal to the Word over anyone/thing else!! It is THE ONLY way to truly know God!

No one is going to convince me, in this evil and preverse generation, that just because they get the upper hand, that they are blessed by God and that means God is with them. It is evil that flourishes in this generation and it is the righteous that are trodden under foot. They call evil good and good evil. They use their god of money to get what they want say it is God's blessing on them. They use lies and manipulation to get the favor of people and then say God is with them. They mock true believers that are cast down in this dark present world just as those that mocked Christ while on the cross.
They said to Him "well if you are the really who you say you are, the Son of God, why can't you come down from that cross?" Just the same those that love to do evil and call it good, laugh and mock when they use money and manipulation and lies to get the upper hand over the true people of God and say, "see you aren't truly of God because then why doesn't God let you have the upper hand like He does to me... You are poor and a nobody and no one likes you or cares about you so it shows you are wrong... God is not with you, He is clearly judging you not me but you say He is judging me but look how I win and you lose."
But what they don't realize is the reason they advance in their way and get what looks like the upper hand (for now) while using wickedness to do it, is because they they are apart of a wicked generation that gives them the perfect stage to do just that. Ungodliness abounds in this generation and the truth is hard to be found in the lives of people that even profess to be Christians, even though there's never been easier access to the truth.
And what I see also in this generation is that you have all those that live in wickedness that are actually fighting amoungst themselves over who is "morally" better. And in the end, in their mind, it is really just the person with the biggest bank account and hence the most people on their side and hence the most resources that wins out. But yet in the minds of these corrupted individuals they will say they are advancing because they are right and God is with them and many of these call themselves Christians and prophets and pastors etc.
The actual Word of God and their true obediance to it doesn't come into play to determine wether God is with them or not but all of the "signs" that they believe they have gotten to say that they are in the right. It so twisted and confusing it is hard to keep up with even being able to talk against it and bring out the truth. It gets tiring and a heavy weight, especially when the few of today following the real truth are much much fewer than the few of 30, 20, and even 10 years ago.
Meaning when there are less shining the true light, it is easier for the darkness to flourish and take over more and more. They will get the upper hand and take over villages, towns, cities, states, and ultimately whole countries all while claiming God is with them and living in clear wickedness. The true Christ followers are those that are martyred today wether in having their actual body destroyed or their name or their influence destroyed. They are falsely accused and dragged before courts and put in prison. They are put in places of great financial strain and other burdens that would impossible for them to maintain all for the point of making them look bad and as though they are some kind of menance to society. Satan has a field day with the true few people of God today simply because he is allowed to since he has so many wicked people he can easily work through and so little opposistion to his wickedness while God has so few that He can truly work through.
So please stop looking at signs to determine if God is with you or not or how blessed you are, look to the Word of God alone and your actual obediance to it. It is our job as the creation of God to take and use His truth and to live by it and be the light and when that is not done evil flourishes and the truly righteous will suffer.
But make no mistake about it this will not go on forever, evil will not win out in the end but God will show up and make all the wrong right in due time no matter what people do. And for those that live and wickedness gladly and hold the truth in unrighteousness, that day will come like a thief in the night.
