School's out for summer!

This mudroom is ready for the season.

Out went the backpacks, homework folders, and school papers. In came pool bags, towels, sunscreen, goggles, and water bottles—all organized and ready to grab on the way out the door.

One of our favorite organizing tips is to let your systems change with the seasons. When your home reflects your family's current routines, everyday life feels a little easier.

What would a summer reset look like in your home?

One of our recent projects was this beautifully organized kids closet designed to make daily routines simpler and more functional for the entire family. We love creating systems that are easy to maintain while still leaving room for children to grow and change over time.

For this project, we partnered with Econize Closets, who designed and built the custom closet system. Our team then organized every category to create thoughtful, practical systems tailored to the family’s needs.

We didn’t just organize a pantry — we built a kitchen lover’s dream. Every jar decanted, every shelf intentional — because people who love to cook deserve a space that loves them back.

One of the best parts of helping clients downsize is finding unexpected pieces of history along the way.

This week while helping a client downsize, we uncovered Life magazines from 1963 featuring JFK, a 1939 “The War World” issue, and a New York Times article covering Apollo 11.

A favorite kind of transformation—blending function with something truly beautiful.

We repurposed a vintage piece to store and display a collection of luxury bags, turning it into a space that feels both elevated and intentional. Everything is easy to see, easy to access, and thoughtfully protected.

The best systems don’t always come from buying something new—sometimes they’re already in your home, just waiting to be reimagined.

Function meets thoughtful design in this closet refresh.

For this space, we used The Container Store’s Luxe line to create structured storage for purses, paired with metal bins from their Serena line to keep smaller items contained and easy to access.
The result is a closet that feels streamlined, intentional, and easy to maintain—everything has a place, and nothing gets lost.
