Project Bliss
Our goal is to connect, support, and promote the organizations and individuals that are striving to make a difference in our world. To Bring people together.
HOW IT BEGAN
Aaron, a Marine Corps Photographer, and Madeleine, a Producer, met in 2015 while working with the US Navy on a messaging campaign. After a few months of working together, it became quite apparent that they shared a few common interests. Most of which centered around social issues, helping people, and of course…storytelling. Over the next year the two spent hours traveling around the

In case you are wondering how Ross is doing, here is his first Blog from Mexico!
"After about an hour without seeing any other form of life I made it to
the top of an overlook and scoped my surroundings. Below me, much to my surprise, was a little campsite with two wooden shacks, a trailer and a few stick bungalows. An old man was in a chair, peeling fruit.
He was about 200 yards away but I waved and he waved back. I decided to walk down and say hi.
“Esta bien para mi encampmento aquí?” I asked (Its ok to camp here?).”
“Esta bien, aquí, y a todos a la playa,” (its ok, here or anywhere
along this beach) he said." Ross Ruddell Patagonia
Way down we go A week ago yesterday I crossed the border from San Diego, California into Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico.

Happy Tuesday everyone.
We apologize for our "silence" over the last few weeks but trust us, we've been hard at work behind the scenes. In fact, Ross has been on the road for a full week today and, we are happy to report, is doing great! Currently, he is in Todos Santos. :)
You can follow Ross Ruddell's trip here, on Medium, on our twitter page, or...at his new website/blog page (we will share the link with you all here soon!)
We are so excited to be sharing this journey with you and hope you'll join us in an awesome adventure throughout Latin America.

A perfect night camping at Big Sur after a day of surfing! Read about Ross's upcoming trip in his most recent blog post "The Dry Run."

Less than a week out and Ross Ruddell is doing a few final test runs (and adjustments) before heading south.
He may or may not have surfed with dolphins during this last trip --you can read about it in his most recent post "The Dry Run."
The Dry Run When I was in the Coast Guard the crew would take their ship out for whats called a “shakedown.” The purpose of these mini-trips? To see…

Just sharing a bit of bliss with you all today.
Thank you Aaron David Hostutler for taking this beautiful photo at Inspiration Point in Colorado. I don't think we need to ask how it got its name.

What Project Bliss Ambassador, Ross Ruddell, friends REALLY think about his upcoming trip to Latin America ;)
"Honestly dude, we help you because we not only want you to succeed, but we know what a complete train-wreck you are at building things by yourself." - Bill (left, front). "Honestly, he might not make it." - Josh.
Words of encouragement from the peanut gallery, AKA the behind
the scenes support system of friends who are helping me get ready forthe adventure. Bill is a diesel mechanic by trade (and an awesome one at that), Josh is a master of almost every trade. Josh has been at my side since high school- scheming about surf trips during science class and Bill is the voice of reason in the bunch. This photo from a recent boat trip to work on a barge captures these two in a rare moment of seriousness between bouts of trash talking.
