my cat lilly just had her kittens. they’re about. 2 weeks now. when do I start giving them food?
She has an appointment to get spayed. She’s strictly an indoor cat, but decided to chew through the window screen and was gone for 8 days. this is the present she’s given us. I’ve been giving her lots of extra food and her and the kittens are in a safe quiet space in my son’s bedroom closet. When do I start giving them wet/dry food?
We’re in Ohio
Can afford vet care
Main issues I need answers on when to give my kittens food
My cat is 3 years old
I’m not a minor
Idk.. Reddit made me put those things before I could post 😭

When is it time to end a relationship?
I'm a first time cat owner and I got my cat a little over a month ago. I've made mistakes, several of them.
I may have raised my voice, I may have grabbed her a little too roughly. She had fleas, so giving her a bath was non-negotiable. So now she doesn't want to be picked up by me.
She's cried numerous times, presumably from boredom and has now decided to stop meowing in exchange for this pained squealing.
Her boredom might be fixed by getting a second cat. Nor does any cat toy seem to hold her attention for very long.
She is a very sweet cat and is very reluctant to biting and scratching.
But she still purrs from being petted and sleeps next to me most nights.
Myself: 37m
Cat: 4F, tortoise shell.

Time for the vet, or just his personality?
tldr: Neutered, almost two-year-old Carl appears quite healthy but has been p**ping outside his box for about two months, his is much more picky with what he eats, and has been very vocal and restless. Me: adult, USA
Carl has been a handful since I got him. He is not quite two now, and constantly demands attention. He started to p**p outside his box, not every time, but about every other day I’ll find it, right outside the box. He hasn’t gone anywhere else or urinated.
He also loves to make a run for the door whenever it opens, so I had to get a cage door installed by my back door.
The past few weeks he has been jumping up into the windows and meowing like he wants to go out (more than usual). He is also getting incredibly fat. So I bought a harness and we have had three semi-successful walks outside, but his yowling has continued.
His appetite has decreased. At first I thought he was just slowing down, but now I’m worried. I went to schedule a vet appointment but my vet has no openings for a month!
His litter is kept clean. He has accessible dry food and I feed him wet food every few hours. Carl is extremely spoiled and wants for nothing.
Am I overreacting, or should I book an appointment with an emergency vet? Thanks for any insight.

My cat is obsessed with me, separation anxiety?
Hi everyone. This is my cat, Fish. She is the sweetest cuddliest girl, although she sometimes has an issue smacking hands etc but she’s a rescue so could be past issues who knows. Anyways, she is absolutely obsessed with me.
She is by my side 24/7, I’m in the kitchen? She has her own stool she sits on. Living room? Laying on me. Bed? Sleeping on my face. Bathroom? On my lap! Just walking around doing chores? Guarantee she is so close behind me I might accidentally step on her. I obviously love her to death and embrace the cuddles but I get worried sometimes she has separation anxiety. I also work 2 jobs and don’t always get to be home with my cats all day to play with them.
Fish has LOTSSSS of energy. I try and make sure I get her running around daily so she isn’t bored + I haven’t found any other animals that really like her, even my other cat. They’ll play together once in awhile and can be near each other but aren’t “buds” I’d say. Sometimes if I don’t play with her right when I get home she will sit infront of me and meow for over 30 minutes until I pick her up and hold her or run around the house playing with her toys and wear her out. But even after that she’s right back at the meowing a couple hours later. It’s even worse when me and my boyfriend are at my house, she goes CRAZY with the meowing and trying to climb up our legs. It can be extremely frustrating sometimes cause I don’t know how to keep her entertained enough and I want to make sure she’s happy
I just want her to feel content and loved! Even as I write this she is scream-meowing at me and attempting to smack things off my coffee table to get my attention. Suggestions?
Edit: sorry if I didn’t make it obvious but I have another cat, fish is my second cat!

Misconceptions a dog person (me) learned after having a cat.
The Cat Distribution System chose me, a formerly stubborn dog person, to adopt a cat. It was the classic I can't just watch a poor cat starve, so I'm keeping him. Here are some misconceptions I had about cats and their owners:
1. **The smell of a cat owner's home:** I’ve known a few cat owners with cat-smelling homes. I always assumed it was the cat. Turns out it isn’t; it’s very much a result of poor ownership and bad cleaning habits.
2. **Dogs are more affectionate than cats:** Also not true! To my surprise, my cat is so cuddly that I occasionally call him "Cat-dog."
3. **A Cat's Barbed tongue hurts:** I don't know why I thought this, I just assumed it would hurt when they lick you.
4. **Litter boxes are disgusting:** Not at all, it's just a clump or two of sand. If you scoop it often, it never gets gross.
5. **Cats are just as hard to take care of:** Actually they're much easier, haha.
That is all, here's a picture of my cat that I love dearly. (He's lost weight since the picture, don't worry)
Anyone else relate? What did I miss?
Edit: His name is Pawl
