The United States is moving through a defining moment of transition. As Americans work harder than ever to navigate economic uncertainty, digital misinformation, and the rapid shift toward cloud-based living, entire chapters of our collective memory are disappearing.

Lo-fi—long celebrated for its calming, reflective energy—has become a cultural language for remembering what we’ve lost and reimagining what’s possible.

Overstand is a multimedia fine arts series born during the pandemic that blends archival research, documentary filmmaking, and lo-fi soundscapes to make American history and philosophy more accessible.

Join us for a launch event at .dc featuring on 12/11. Don’t miss this. 🔗 in bio

I hate to say it—- but getting my cameras stolen might be the best thing that happened to me. Last year, someone broke into my car and stole over 5k worth of equipment. I knew that quitting was never an option— but I wondered what would become of this little business.

Then, the pandemic hit.

The last 12 months have helped me understand how powerful I can be when I push myself. If you’re reading this, I’m sure you’re just like me.

Keep going and take your time. It works out, I promise.

We've got good news!

JessBe Creative is teaming up with Ryan Celsius to launch a new partnership that we're calling .

Through this partnership, we'll be adding to the digital footprint of cultures, sounds, and stories lost to the prevalence of ethnocide in America.

Ryan Celsius is a world-class DJ + Producer who is known for his long-form, visual mixtapes.

Together, we will produce work that blurs the lines between journalism, documentary filmmaking, and audio mixtapes to make beautiful + perspective-shifting content.

Y'all ready for this? We are!
