It was like a UFC rematch of Conor McGregor vs Dustin Poirier 3! Who wins!?

Before his big Superhero bash - on his actual birthday - Levi made a very specific request (that warmed my heart) telling me he wanted to celebrate at home, order food (pizza!), and that he only wanted it to be the two of us. 🥰 He even refused one of our very close friends from coming by with a gift. To make it even more special - before picking him up from summer school, I set up a scavenger hunt to find his gifts. This video captures the great fun we had!

It was a very special day. I still cannot believe he is five. I was a little more emotional than usual on this birthday. I remember every detail from the day God brought us together. Reflecting on our life together, we both continue to grow and learn. We correct one another, forgive one another, and have the most incredible level of unconditional love that I have ever experienced. He brings me closer to God by expanding in me the desire to follow Jesus more closely.

Happy Birthday, my sweet, loving, spirit-filled, creative, funny, energetic, friendly, intelligent, perfect son. You are the best boy in the world. I love you to the Moon and back and am forever grateful to have you in my life.
