"Around 11AM on June 18, 2011 my 3 year old son Clay almost died by drowning in a community pool. Our friends were watching he and our 6 year old daughter Maison, while my husband and I took my father's dog on a jog. We arrived on the scene to our daughter running out of the pool screaming, "I think Clay died!"

Yesterday marked 13 years since Clay’s drowning. Today he is a certified American Red Cross Lifeguard just like his sister (and mom!) The full circle of this has not gone unnoticed. My heart is full is so many ways.
