The Biden Administration is launching a strategy to regulate PFAS, a toxic chemical found in many consumer products, and which contaminate food and water supplies. PFAS are called “forever chemicals" because they stay around in the environment and in our bodies for a very long time.

The EPA will focus on prevention and cleanup of PFAS-contaminated sites across the United States. Click below for details, and learn more about PFAS by watching this video, made by Rose Foundation grantee Clean Water Fund. “PFAS” was proudly featured in our 2021 Film Fest!

The age of COVID-19 has brought many new challenges when it comes to staying healthy and safe. As more Michiganders become vaccinated, we must continue to wear masks, social distance, improve ventilation - and clean, sanitize, and disinfect surfaces. However, some cleaners and disinfectants can have harmful health effects. Fortunately, we can minimize the danger by choosing safer products and following careful cleaning and disinfecting practices while maintaining a healthy and safe environment.

Clean Water Fund has resources available that discuss the recent science on COVID transmission and how you can choose safer products while still effectively removing COVID from surfaces in your school, home or facility.

Click below for videos, information, and fact sheets (in English and Spanish) on how to minimize exposure to harmful chemicals while effectively reducing surface risk - and stay safe!
Hello fellow BNI NH members! I was fortunate to be invited to join the Upper Valley BNI chapter in Lebanon on behalf of my organization, Clean Water Fund, earlier this year as part of BNI's exciting push to involve more nonprofits.
Now I have a challenge to test our essential Givers Gain premise!
I would like to enlist your support raising $1,000,000 for my nonprofit. (Note: we're pretty far along already; YOUR help can put us over the top before the end of 2021!)
You can help in 2 ways, then be sure to reach out to schedule a 1-2-1 with me so I can learn more about how I can help you and your business:
1) sign up to take surveys with SurveyMonkey to generate donations for Clean Water Fund (see link in comments, below)

There are lots of ways to show your support for Clean Water Action and Clean Water Fund.

But one of the smartest ways is to donate stock. Because, if you hold onto stock, you risk market downturns and losses. Or, if you sell stock and donate to Clean Water Action or Clean Water Fund, you may pay a capital gains tax and have less money to donate.

Donating stock is a win-win for you, and Clean Water.

While Newark schools test for lead, water fountains remain shut off

“The schools should provide an adequate water supply for their staff and students. It shouldn’t be the burden of teachers and parents to do that.” - Amy Goldsmith, Clean Water Action New Jersey State Director

#GetTheLeadOut

While Newark schools test for lead, water fountains remain shut off Some Newark students and teachers have had to buy or bring their own drinking water because the school district has kept water fountains turned off. Officials had hoped to restore water by September but now say water fountains will stay shut off through spring 2022.
