Carson Pass (SR-88) is temporarily closed to recover vehicles caused by an unsafe vehicle.

This Prius decided they would illegally enter an area with Chain Control Restrictions WITHOUT any type of traction control device.

The vehicle became disabled in the snow on Carson Pass, just west of Red Lake, causing the commercial truck to become stuck as well.

This is in the Avalanche Area of Carson Pass. Extremely dangerous!
