Took some time off work, baking this past week. Another great trip to our nations capital. Every time we go back we find we love it there even more. This trip was quick but we stayed at the most amazing historic hotel - Hays Adams and about 20 ft to St. John’s Church (across from the White House). We took in the place we got married 6 years ago where we saw another couple get married with the same minister and photographer. Brought back some amazing memories. We got to attend services at St. John’s and were invited to sit in the Presidential pew (where all Presidents have attended since Madison). What a treat that’s was!! We attended the Army Navy game (yay Navy) and got to eat some amazing food. We even spotted and had breakfast next to some heavy hitter politicians and reporters. Man… I love the history of our nation. It never disappoints remembering our freedom and being a badass American! 🇺🇸
