After 6 months and many very humbling loaves…
we’ve got back-to-back wins 🥖 Not saying I’ve mastered sourdough—but I’m no longer being personally victimized by it.

We are finally getting that oven spring, a proper ear, and a crust worth the wait! So thankful to the sourdough community for keeping me motivated!

The smell of fresh baked bread is one of my favorites. It’s so warm and delightful I can never get tired of it.

Happy Diwali from my family to yours!

Diwali is India’s biggest and most important holiday festival of the year. The festival gets its name from the row (avali) of clay lamps (deepa) that Indians light outside their homes to symbolize the inner light that protects from spiritual darkness. Diwali is a 5-day festival. On the third day, the main day of the festival, families gather together for Lakshmi puja, a prayer to Goddess Lakshmi, followed by mouth-watering feasts and firework festivities.

Our homemade Diwali platter consisted of Chole bhaji, Yellow potato bhaji, Dahl, white rice, shrikhand, lassan (garlic) chutney, kheer and Indian sweets which was served with puri and papad.
