Day 29. Mental Health Awareness. It’s funny how life happens and how everything is by design. The question is are you the one designing your life or is someone else. Being an artist it’s inherently embedded in me to create and make things and not just being an artist but being a Female Artist. THATS POWER. I can create Art and Life from the inside out.✨

For this art therapy session, the topic was patience. Honestly, painting larger-than-life scale pieces takes time and patience. Art teaches me that every time I step in front of a canvas. It teaches me that things won’t always turn out exactly how I imagined them especially if I’m lacking patience, and instead of getting frustrated or giving up, or being sad, I have to trust the process and keep going.

Life is the same way. The things I want for myself, the things I pray for and work toward, require patience too. Everything meant for me will come in the right time. Even if and when it seems like I lost, it’s always going to come right back, Bigger and Better. I just have to trust the process, continue learning, and allow myself to grow into the person ready to receive it.

So let me get back to the canvas… I still have a lot of learning, practicing, and PAINTING to do. 🎨✨

Day 18. I know I missed a couple of days but we can keep pushing forward. This was me adding the final details to the glass painting. The eyes are what always gets me.

Okay I know I was suppose to be posting everyday for mental health awareness but the past couple of days have been…ALOT. I had to take a mental break. However being able to paint one of your favorite rappers/singers live in front of him is CRAZY WORK.
