tional-motivational public speaker; and has three published books, with two currently awaiting publication. I endured body aches, chills, loss of appetite and smell for approximately fifteen days. I didn't have the strength to write, so this put a delay on me completing my books. After completing the quarantine period, my strength returned and I started writing again. Shortly thereafter, after attending and participating in a workshop facilitated by my publisher, who educates her clients not only on how to sell books, but also how to treat being an author as a business, I established Bridgette Alfred LLC. In doing so, I was afforded the opportunity to write and script a screenplay that would be presented and facilitated as a play to generate funding. Since the play ultimately did not generate funding as intended, I transposed it into a book, and have been sharing my story and testimonials since, through additional books as well as community and public speaking engagements. In October 2021, I was diagnosed with cancer. When I received this diagnosis, I knew this would be one of the most challenging experiences that I had ever gone through. By December 2021, I’d completed twenty-eight radiation treatments and ten chemo treatments. I was truly blessed that I didn’t experience all the serious side effects that I was instructed that I might encounter. During my eight-week physical examination and follow-up with the radiation oncologist on February 22, 2022, he stated cancer was no longer detected. Without any doubt, Bridgette Alfred LLC is my destiny.
