Welcome to our new page! Cicada Defender is a D.C. based firm run by local high-school students. We provide Cicada protection services and products.
Cicadas feed by extracting valuable nutrients from plants. Adults create slits in plant branches to lay their eggs. Those slits weaken the tree over time, and later cause branches to break, wither or die.
