In October, leaders from across the AVI Family came together for a few days of learning, brainstorming, and connection.

Our President and CEO, Anthony Payiavlas, inspired the group with his vision for leadership, and attendees enjoyed a special dinner with our Founder, John Payiavlas. 🍽️

The event wrapped up with certificates of completion, celebrating the dedication and growth of our incredible leaders! 💙

Huge thanks to everyone who made this training a success — from our facilitators and speakers to every attendee who brought their energy and ideas.

On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, we proudly celebrated the opening of our 4,000th Market C — at the Amazon ORF4 location in Virginia Beach, VA!

From the ribbon-cutting ceremony to exciting giveaways — including Smart TVs, tablets, and Apple AirPods — our team had a blast celebrating with Amazon associates. 💙

Fun was had by all, and this milestone marks another step forward in our mission to bring innovative, convenient dining experiences to workplaces across the country.

Today we’re throwing it back to the 1970s! Here’s a look inside AVI’s Culinary Support Center, where fresh food was made from scratch each day to serve our growing clients. From these kitchens to today’s operations, quality and care have always been at the heart of AVI.

Our team is putting in the work at Bryant University! Shoutout to everyone who helped with the grand re-opening of Salmanson Dining Hall and all the start of the semester!

Chef Naveen’s Guest Chef Series has been a delicious success!🍽️ From Indiana and Alabama to Marysville and several Ohio Honda locations, he’s earned rave reviews from associates and clients alike. His ‘Taste of India’ menu - featuring favorites like chicken tikka masala and gulab jamun - has helped serve over 1,000 meals, with 300+ more on the way this week. Everyone’s already asking when he’ll be back!

As part of our AVI 65 celebration, we’re taking a walk down memory lane with Throwback Thursdays - sharing snapshots from 1960 to today!📸 Pictured here is the Village Café in Warren, OH, which our founder, John Payiavlas, proudly owned and operated. Each day, he serviced clients of his newly purchased business, Automatic Vendors, in the morning before working from noon to close at the Café - laying the foundation for what AVI would become.
From those early beginnings to where we are today, these stories remind us just how far we’ve come.
