This year, Midwest Electric employees, board directors, and legal counsel joined together to donate $2,790 to three local organizations: Mercy Unlimited, Inc., Our Home Family Resource Center, and Agape Ministries (Agape Thrift Store), which serve a combined 600+ children and 800+ families in Auglaize and Mercer counties. Great job, Midwest Electric team!

The Midwest Electric employees, trustees, and council have taken holiday giving to another level. 🎄

This year, the electric cooperative’s employees, board directors, and legal counsel joined together to donate $2,610 to three local organizations🎁 . The funds went to Mercy Unlimited, Inc. in Wapakoneta, Our Home Family Resource Center in Celina, and Agape Ministries in St. Marys.

Mercy Unlimited, Inc. is a tremendous organization a block away from the Wapak office that provides many financial services to those in need. All money raised by Mercy Unlimited is raised from donated items resold at a fraction of their value, also to those in need.

We had our fourth and final week of MOVE Camp. Thank you to Mercy Unlimited, Inc. for the tour and giving us the opportunity to pack Senior food boxes. We always enjoy hearing about the wonderful work you are doing. After an intense fooseball tournament, we celebrated the last day at Ottawa Metro Park Beach. We can’t wait to start planning for next year!

This is just one of the petty things I got today. As you work or shop you can know that someone here loves God and people.
You can have so much fun in this store even if you don't buy anything.
They help in the community where they are needed .

It's Fun Fact Friday with Mercy Unlimited, Inc. Did you know to date they've served 204,000 residents! That's a lot of service! And they love to partner! This weekend they're working with the Black Swamp Area Council, Boy Scouts of America who are collecting food at every door in Wapakoneta! Leave the food at your door before 9am and it will be hand delivered by a Scout!

Due to the overwhelming generosity of our donors our donation center is full. Our donation center will be closed until Thursday November 9th. This will give us the much need time to make room for more donation.

The gift tag trees are up in Wapakoneta, full of genders and ages of children. We do not put names or information on the gift tags because of privacy for the families. You can be sure the gifts will be passed out to the age group you select. There is no dollar amount you have to spend; just purchase a gift for a child or student in Wapakoneta City Schools. We added high school students this year, and we all know they like gift cards for food, hair salons, or something you have personally selected for them.
