Finished installing the tile backsplash at the homestead, now it's time to pick a paint color for walls. My wife is looking to pull a green from this color pallette. She likes the "Army Green", I may have them go 75% strength at the paint store so it's not too dark.

When it's time for popcorn ceiling repair we unleash...The Beast. My father has been using this sprayer since 1971 and it never fails us. Next we will spray all the ceilings to match the color with Sherwin Williams Flat White. Pro tip, if you ever decide to spray texture popcorn, mix some paint into spray not just water so it hardens properly.

This house needed some updating before it hit the market. Oil Primer on walls and ceiling and 2 coats of Regal Select by Benjamin Moore. The house was under contract in under 2 weeks of being listed. Was it the awesome paint job? We like to think so

This is a great product if you have mold or Mildew. Clean appropriately and use this primer before topcoating. We have used this in many bathrooms and after Ice Dam damage from winters.

This is why we never use subs lol.

Relay For Life | Cancer Walk | Cancer Fundraising Events

This year I decided to start a Relay for Life team to honor and inspire my beautiful wife Chauntel. In 2016 she was diagnosed with Cancer and our lives and the lives of our children were forever changed. It was a terrifying and surreal moment, but a moment that she chose to not let define her, but rather inspire her. These past few years have been a trial and although theres been countless scans, tests, bloodwork, surgeries, setbacks, and watching her flat-line twice, we have had many victories and are now at a place of more good days than not. With the prayers and support of family and friends she has bravely faced Cancer head on, and we wanted to have a public show of support for her with this team. The ACS has been an incredible resource for us, and though we have been walking at the relay for years, this year I am asking for anyone who wants to participate to please consider our team, Top Knot Hot Shots. Summer vacation means passing down the trade. My oldest helping prep to spray popcorn ceilings. I'm so proud of how much he has learned and thankful my father taught me the trade in the same way...The cheap labor aint bad either lol.
