Oftentimes, we hear about experiences on two ends of the spectrum. On one hand, we often hear from people whose only reference point for how long a remodel should take is the HGTV-style quick makeover where everything is wrapped up neatly in about 48 hours after a team of dozens descends on the house working round the clock. Like most things on TV, remodeling in real life doesn’t quite work that way. :-)

Introducing….Greg Agro!
Greg and his brother Craig (previously profiled) came to us over 15 years ago as carpentry subcontractors for our additions. When we saw the need for more employees we asked them to come on as employees and they were willing and we couldn’t be happier! He is highly skilled at framing, roofing, sheetrock work, siding, and painting. Basically everything and it shows. He loves working for Bencar because he feels employees are treated like family. He get satisfaction from making something old look brand new for homeowners. With Craig and Greg, every completed project is beautiful! Greg is the most laid-back employee we have and he works great on any crew.
Outside of work Greg enjoys relaxing, visiting breweries, eating pizza, camping, spending time with family, and playing golf.
Greg and his wife Debbie have an adult son and daughter.

Evan was born and raised in Wallingford and graduated from Lyman Hall High School. He came to us in January of 2015 and we are so happy he did! Everyone enjoys working with him and the office staff is always happy to see him at the end of the day.
In these 8 years, he has become a leader and decision maker. He always says he enjoys making a connection with the homeowners and all of them have commended him when their project is complete.
Evan’s expertise is trim work, taping and painting, but he’s capable at all the carpentry skills needed on a job. Outside of work he enjoys hanging out with his wife and dogs and playing video games with friends.
He and his wife Erin were married 2020 and they live with their two dogs in Middlebury.
