Positively Lettering

I was first approached by the Chamber in September for the idea for a mural to be used as a backdrop at Meet in the Street. The girls from the Chamber had been walking around Southern Suds and were inspired by a shirt of mine - and we took it from there! After consulting with them, I took a big risk and redrew most of the design elements to lean more heavily into focusing on the Chamber and so many of their offerings
- such as Coffee Club, Sip & Schmooze, Gov’t Affairs and more! I even featured a few elements that have been turned into stickers for the Chamber. The risk paid off! I received a resounding “yes!” The ultimate goal of this piece is for it to be enjoyed by our community for years to come at Meet in the Street; and I am thrilled and honored to have played a part in it!

I can finally share my biggest watercolor to date! Thank you for trusting me to paint this guestbook piece for your big day! I was scared out of my mind but I am extremely proud how it turned out! Congratulations .davari and Caz!! ❤️

I made this a while ago and just came across it again while working on my IPad. I guess God is reminding me that - especially in this season when people are being extra unlovely - I gotta love them anyway. Oof.

These are the final five pieces of my “Have Faith” Scripture card set! I am so excited that one of them coincided with my friends and new lettering challenge!

Thankful that I have been going over and over these verses as I sort these and pack them and photograph them. When I set out to make these months ago, little did I know the verses would be exactly what I needed to hear now.

It’s incredible to me that I started working on these months and months ago, way before I knew what my fall would look like and how much I would be going back to these myself for comfort. But God knew. I am clinging to these verses of faith - and I hope they will be encouraging for you as well. ❤️

One of the requirements was bold. This space is the entrance to their creative space - a space for podcasts, headshots, videos, interviews and more. They wanted their clients to be inspired to “launch” their ideas. I think we accomplished that.

My absolute favorite picture is the 4th one. That is the view from the front door. 🤩
