Learning what it means to “go fast and turn left” one race at a time!

03/21/2026

We won us a series championship. There wasn’t much competition but we got to turn a bunch of laps and we got some momentum as we move up to jr 1 for our 2026 season. Considering our kart is from at least 2008 or older (qrc told me that was the last year they made our style kart lol) we’re pretty fast.

Got the W on Saturday. Truly grateful for the people that put these shows on for the kids. We had a great track to run on and great facilities to pit out of. We have one more young guns race in Abilene in two weeks and then Ryatt will officially be moving up to Jr 1 class. We need all the laps and dad needs all the wrenching he can get. Every single race we learn something on the track and in the pits.

Well…we are fast , just got to learn how to be more aggressive and make the pass.

Heat race 3-6-26

🏁 Shawnee Outlaw Motorsports Recap 🏁

What a weekend in Shawnee, OK 👊

Saturday we started dead last in our heat, the complete opposite of the night before. Stayed focused, kept digging, and managed to move up a couple spots, which put us on the pole for the B-Main. From there, we blew the doors off, taking the win and punching our ticket to the A-Main 💪

That put us inside last row for the A-Main, and honestly—we were just stoked to make it. We picked up a position early, survived a couple of cautions, and were settling in when we unfortunately got hit from behind, ending our night early. Racing can be brutal like that sometimes.

Overall, it was a huge learning weekend for only our second trip to Oklahoma, and we’ll take the progress every time.

Next up 👉 MWRS in Duncan, Oklahoma at the beginning of March. Until then, it’s repair time, fine-tuning, and getting the kart even better before we roll out again 🔧🏎️
