A violist, Jennifer Martin started as a student teacher in Midway in the mid-2000s after switching majors at Baylor University from music performance to music education.
“From that point on, I knew I found my calling, this is where I belong,” Martin said.
Midway ISD feels like home for new fine arts director Jennifer Martin learned how to be a music educator at Midway ISD. Now she’s coming back with experience gained in larger school districts and as president of Texas Music Educators Association.
