Our Women’s History Month series continues with Henrietta Napier 🌼
Henrietta is pioneer in healthcare and a pillar of the Waco community. She made history as the first African American registered nurse in McLennan County, breaking barriers at a time when opportunities for Black women in medicine were limited.
Through her work, she cared for families, advanced public health, and helped strengthen the well-being of communities across Waco.
Her legacy lives on through the lives she touched, the care she provided, and the path she created for future generations of women in healthcare.
Join us March 30th, 6–7 PM, as we give her flowers.

Today, we give flowers to Patricia “Pat” Chisolm-Miller 🌸✨
A trailblazer in McLennan County, Pat made history as the first woman and first African American woman elected to the McLennan County Commissioners Court.
Through decades of public service, she dedicated her life to uplifting communities, advocating for residents, and opening doors for future women leaders in Central Texas. Her leadership reminds us that change is often built through steady service, courage, and a deep love for community.
As and prepare to unveil their Women’s History Month mural, we are taking a moment to honor Pat Miller’s legacy and the lasting impact she continues to have on Waco.
Join us March 30th, 6-7 pm, as we give her flowers.
