Little (p)update! 🐾 All 3 of our babies are doing well and living their best lives!

Gracie is enjoying retirement by laying out in the sun, laying around the house, really laying anywhere. She especially loves to dig out fresh, cool patches of dirt into our lawn (much to the chagrin of her human dad). Her mama instincts are still very much in tact with our youngest, Goose, who we’ll get to in a minute. Licking is her specialty, especially ears.

Maverick is also enjoying retirement, just with a son in tow now. His favorite things are still playing fetch with the ball or his silicone toys, and snuggling mom and dad, especially at bedtime (but not too much). He’s still as fast and smart as ever!

Goose is ALL PUPPY, almost 9 months old. He is all energy and tongue and being right under mom and dad’s feet! He’s very smart, a quick learner, and sometimes ornery (in a funny way). He’s growing into his little manliness handsomely, and if or when we do decide to breed again in the future, he’ll be our newest stud.

One new thing they all LOVE is their new FreezBone (not sponsored)! We fill it with a bit of kibble, pumpkin, plain Greek yogurt, and bone broth and it really helps their quick brains, especially on our recent rainy days where they can’t get as much exercise outdoors.

As temperatures drop, pets cannot survive prolonged exposure to the cold.

❄️🐾 It’s cold outside & will be colder this weekend. We need your help! 🐾❄️

Our pets would greatly appreciate donations of:
🛏️ Blankets
🧼 Towels
🛌 Sheets

If you have any gently used items at home, we’d be grateful to give them a second life, keeping our pets warm and comfy. Donations can be dropped off at the shelter anytime during open hours. 🧡 Thank you for helping our animals stay warm this weekend!

❄️🐾 Cold Weather Pet Safety Reminder 🐾❄️

With freezing temperatures moving in, we want to remind pet owners to take extra precautions to keep outdoor pets safe and warm.

If possible, bring pets indoors during this freeze. If pets must remain outside, please be sure they have:
• A warm, dry, and insulated shelter
• Protection from wind, rain, and snow
• Dry bedding such as straw or blankets
• Access to unfrozen water

🚨 If you find an animal that appears to be suffering from hypothermia:
• Bring them into a warm, dry area if it is safe to do so
• Wrap them in warm blankets or towels
• Avoid hot baths, heating pads, or rapid warming
• Contact a veterinary clinic for guidance

Portrait of His Grace, Duke Maverick Pawsington the Neutered (alas!) of Ye Olde Couch, circa 1599. He appears noble, dignified, and refined... but in truth, he is playful, goofy, and would absolutely steal thy sock.

Hear ye, hear ye. We give thanks for the duke's many years of faithful service to the crown. His days of siring heirs are now complete, and he is now honorably retired to a life of comfort, cushions, and excessive spoiling. By royal decree, his heir, Lord Gooseington the Magnificent, First of His Name, shall ascend the throne.
